“At the farmers’ market, I met the family behind Olives On Tap. I’m a vinegar freak! I love their cranberry-pear white balsamic. I could drink it from the bottle! I grew up in North Vancouver and it feels great to support a small business from my community.”

B.C. Artists’ Sculptures
“I try to incorporate local sculptures by B.C. artists where I can. Artists such as Marie Khouri, David Robinson, James Stewart and George Pratt animate and add depth to the gardens we design.”
“We like Mellifera Bees’ honey because it’s truly local and delicious. The honey is harvested from ethically managed backyard beehives in Vancouver. We like the cardamom honey in particular.”
“We routinely go to Vancouver Olive Oil Company to taste their revolving stock of oils and vinegars. All of their oils have harvest dates so you know that they’re fresh.”
“I go to Golden Age Collectibles often. Although I stopped collecting comic books as such when I hit 30, they have great behind-the-scenes art books and specific titles you won’t find anywhere else.”
“I love that I live really close to Cioffi’s Meat Market and Deli. They carry my favourite local dairy products, Avalon, and mouth-watering grass-fed local meats.”
