However you pronounce it, Pecha Kucha's eclectic mix of ideas, inspiration and idiosyncracies has attracted a loyal audience around the world, and Vancouver is no exception
Petsha Kootsha? Pechakcha? How do you pronounce the sold-out event where an accomplished mix of Vancouverites visually present their stories with flair and funny for approximately six and a half minutes? Either way, once you attend an edition of Pecha Kucha, you'll quickly realize it's the content that'll have you hooked - and leave you inspired.
The 24th edition of Pecha Kucha included everything from a choreographer to a cocktail mixologist, a Yaletown blow-dry bar owner to a Downtown Eastside beauty volunteer; an eclectic mix that brought out an equally varied visual buffet of Vancouverites. Here's a look at who was there and how they looked.
